Our dear goy (non-jewish) neighbor Sam Smith bought Eric this yiddish word magnet set and I have been having a fabulous time making up sentences to make my darling jewish boy laugh. Here they are:
"Don't potshke with my tchotchke." - Don't mess with my stuff (my personal favorite)
"Noshing tomid one bissel ferklempt and zaftig toches" - Snacking makes one a little upset stomach and buxom bottoms
"your zis shikse wife says let's make geshmak latke (or the naughty verson below,"liebe")" - your sweet non-jewish seductress wife says lets make delicious potato pancakes.
"Father veyn, yo froy, what a simca." - Father says, yes woman, what a special occasion!
and my new personal favorite: "Shop till you Plotz."
