First Tooth!

Noah FINALLY lost his first tooth two months shy of his 7th birthday! He's been watching his cousins (younger than him) with envy while they lost tooth after tooth. Poor kid. But now he can join the elite club of those who've been visited by the tooth fairy. It's been a long time coming and was a snaggle tooth for quite a while. I was patient to let it come out on its own, but Judson couldn't take it anymore and convinced Noah to let him pull it out. I was so surprised that Noah agreed to this.
It was comical to watch their attempts. All the way from thread tied around the tooth and connected to the closet door, to connecting it to the dog and having her walk away, to "the duct tape trick" (don't ask me what that is, I have no idea). Nothing worked. It would've been an awesome movie scene. They didn't give up. Finally, Judson had Noah lay down on the lawn chair and pretend his head was glued to it while he pulled from above. Success. Two happy boys incredibly proud of themselves. A thoroughly entertained mom.
